Windows 11, version 24H2, What’s new

This is a very short blog about Windows 11 24H2

Since Microsoft announced it on October 1st, 2024, I have been attempting to update my machines via Intune.

I created the feature update ring for Intune in the same announcement’s day. However, my tenants did not receive it until yesterday.

The update took around 50 minutes, including the reboots. Finally first device has received it

We’re still working on all the features, but it looks like it a not-fast for me. It’s a nice feature for customizing your favorite icons, Wifi, Bluetooth, etc.

The file menu has some good features on the top of the menu

I saw many options in Power & Battery. Microsoft has added several options to reduce power consumption.

Setting page is different now,

Also, I liked the option to enable personal data encryption. I just enabled it before the blog. It will take up to 7 days, so I will follow up about that.

Thanks
