Administrative Templates
After more than seven years of working with Intune and recently focusing on securing environments by configuring Intune policies, I found that many companies are not implementing several policies, particularly those related to Administrators, Security, Access, etc. Also, most of these policies are required by Cyber Security.
I decided to create this series on Intune Policies and discuss one category in each episode.
In this episode, I will discuss “Administrative Templates Personalization”
- Prevent enabling the lock screen camera.
- Prevent enabling the lock screen slideshow.
- Enable screen saver (User).
- Prevent enabling the lock screen camera: To stop the camera from opening on the lock screen, switch the toggle to’ Enabled. ‘ This action will prevent the user from enabling or disabling lock screen camera access in PC Settings. Consequently, the camera cannot be accessed on the lock screen.
- Prevent the lock screen slideshow: To stop the lock screen slideshow from playing and to ensure the user cannot change this setting, switch the toggle to’ Enabled.” Users will be unable to modify slideshow settings, and no slideshow will commence.
- Enable screen saver (User): To enable the screen saver, regardless of whether you want a specific screen saver or not, you must switch the toggle to “Enabled,” provided that the following two conditions are met: First, a valid screen saver is specified on the client through the “Screen Saver executable name” setting or Control Panel. Second, the screensaver timeout must be set to a non-zero value through the setting or Control Panel.
Let us configure this setting

Under basic information, I added them all because all under Admin Templates

search for the setting by type some of the polciy name like “Screen saver”

The lock screen is the new one not the default Win 11.

The screen saver the user Won’t be able to change it, all grayed out.

Thank you for taking the time, I hope this helps.
